has anyone heard why there was no goal line camera for the game? I watched the Tenn - Ga. Tech game and they had one and both games were played at a Pro venue.

I can think of a play where I'd liked to have seen a camera on the goal line.
The lack of that specific view really prevented the officials from overturning the call on the field. I can't blame the officials on this even if I think they likely got it wrong.

You would think it would be standard procedure to have one or two (one on each side) goal line camera(s) for deciding if a player crosses the goal line on a short run. We see those kind of replays all the time. Can't believe they didn't have at least one goal line camera for a nationally televised game.

Bad camera angle didn't prevent the refs from overturning a similar TD/touchback call on Robert Marve in the 2011 Iowa game. Guess there's no such thing as good karma when you're a Purdue fan.
