This is embarrassing because both of you are long time posters and actual Purdue fans - not like the rest of these troll mongoloids. Your attitude is why I quit watching the Colts and the Pacers. Both of their fan bases are made up of a douchey mix of arrogant Purdue fans like you two and a bunch of reversible jacket idiots. It's like the worst of both fan bases come together to make an ass out of the state.
Only the trolls and the most bitter, disgruntled people expected yesterday's outcome. If you can't have any optimism for your team and want to publicly cry about it, so be it. Get out your "hopeless" and "Suck for luck" t shirts and throw a tantrum. But why call out people for being optimistic? None of us have a spare $50M lying around that we can use to strong arm the university into making the changes needed to fix football. All we can do is voice our frustrations to the athletic department. Don't rip this dude down for loving his school. He is supporting the team the best way he can: by being positive. Unfortunately, that has yielded little result. Compare that to the results of people bitching on internet forums: got Hope fired, lost Randy Gregory and got us in this mess. I'll take the homer optimism.
