Caleb Swanigan

I humbly suggest one look at the games in which he was "...among men." The stats are dramatically different. I sincerely hope he makes it happen during the next three months. His performance agains the past two teams is totally not relevant. ....

I don't know about his "draft status" but he's playing like an All-American, especially these last 3 games! I'm guessing that his performance tonight was the first 30-20 game for a DI player this season.

is a man amongst boys these last 2 tune ups before the B1G season starts. If he keeps this up, I see All American honors and a 1st round pick in his not too distant future.
Biggie needs to be money from NBA 3 point range, and he'll be in the league for a decade.

I think right now he's focused on being a great college hoopster instead of worrying about the NBA.

I humbly suggest you look at how many times he hasn't had a double double this year. Spoiler alert, it's a very short list.

Up next are the Iowa Hawkeyes. They have two freshman bigs/posts that have played thus far in Tyler Cook and Cordell Pemsl. Cook has missed the past few games with an injury but is slated to return vs. the Boilers at Mackey next Wednesday. Iowa's young team has been playing better lately after some rocky early season results. It should be a good one!

Biggie brings it every night. Are there taller, faster, more skilled and athletic players the NBA may covet more highly? Yes, yes, yes and yes.

Who do I want on my side come game time? No. 50. Yes, 100 times. And he keeps getting better.

Caleb is starting to scratch the surface of his offensive potential. He needs to continue to work on that. He's just a beast on the boards and he's relentless. Not sure where that puts him in the eyes of the NBA. I'd like to see him go win BTPOY and then test it again. Can't fault him a bit for going if he is a first rounder.

Guys like Swanigan, a combination of talent, desire, and heart are rare, the guy does whatever it takes to win, its gotta inspire the other guys on the team. Can't say enough good things about the man.

I'm sure it would be annoying if I were playing with him but I kinda like how he will just take a rebound away from a teammate if he can. I think it shows just how bad he wants that ball!

I just want to see him hang some numbers like these on the Loosiers and Whizzo's boys.

79 points and 51 rebounds is a remarkable three-game run against any opponent, that 1/3 of it came against a ranked team on a neutral court makes it even more impressive.

I think it's funny that he is actually starting to scare opponents when he's going after a rebound with force. They don't even seem to want to be in the area. In harm's way, I guess. They might get Biggied.

The thing I admire most is his motivation and work ethic. Gene used to say that about Big Dog too. Brings it every game.

I've heard that several times concerning Gene Keady and Glenn Robinson. Also, it's been mentioned a couple of times by broadcasters on games concerning Caleb Swanigan.....maybe it was Bilas....when you're best player is working that hard or harder than anyone else, it rubs off on the rest of the team, or put another way, it shows the other players.....you better be working your ass off or else......definitely looking forward to the conference season.
