Cal up 14 on Oregon at Halftime...

Pat Force suggested in his weekly column that Zo could be the next coach at Illinos or Missouri.

Maybe Zo is the top candidate the IU admins have identified to replace Queen? That would be their best candidate since RMK left. :D

WRONG...WRONG...WRONG!!!! I think I just threw up a little even thinking about it.... Andy, you really know how to ruin a perfectly nice evening....( surely the IU fans wouldn't want a Purdue Grad as Coach-please)

Disgusting thought but IU would never take Cuonzo nor would he ever be offered that job at this point so nothing we have to worry about. I don't even think he would return the phone call.

Thank you!!! That was the answer I was waiting to hear....lol!!!

Now the Illinois thought actually concerned me. I want to root for Illinois a little bit having gone to the same high school as their AD but I don't want another Boiler coaching another Big Ten team.

Especially Zo! But heard his family really liked SoCal...

And Butler up 8 on Nova w/ 2:25to go.....really don't want Dogs to win this one...too close to us in potential Seeding.

Dillon Brooks with another buzzer-beating 3PT for Oregon. Oregon wins at Cal, 68-65.

Cal is in Berkeley which is near Oakland in the East Bay area, think SF.

That is not Southern California.

Iirc, IU refused to consider Stallings from Vanderbilt, now at Pittsburgh, as a coaching candidate during their lsst search because he was a Purdue alum.

Yes, the Bay Area is considered Northern California. And it is much better than Southern California.

Maybe they didn't interview him because he sucks. Stallings never did much at Vanderbilt and isn't doing so hot at Pitt.

Also appreciate you setting the record straight on the location of Berkeley. Not even close to Southern California.

Butler with another resume win. They are undoubtedly ahead of us now. Sucks because if UK or UL were to drop enough Butler would likely be next in line for Indy.

I don't really believe they're better than Purdue overall (worse losses: i.e. Indiana State) but at the same time, they've made plays in big games to beat more high-quality teams (i.e. sweeping Villanova) than Purdue has thus far.
