Penn State just beat Nebraska today and is scheduled to play a totally rested Iowa team that hasn't played, tomorrow BEFORE the Northwestern/Indiana game. It seems reasonable that Penn State should get the additional 3 hours rest because they are playing a highly seeded team that is totally rested. The difference between 20 hours rest and 23-1/2 hours rest could be significant. It seems the only reason for the scheduling is so fans of the winner can see the team you will play the next day.
