Good game so far Michigan vs Rutgers. I have had it on the background but not paying close attention. Looks like Rutgers went on a run at the end of the half to make it close.

Teams are a combined 5-22 from 3. Join the club dudes lol. Hope they continue to not be able to shoot for our game with either team

Rutgers came to play in the 2nd.

I do think getting time to adjust to the stupid Wilson Orange Ball of death could favor whoever we play tomorrow since they will have 1 game with them.

Hopefully we get our rhythm and come out hot.

Plus, from the games I've seen, the rims seem very tight too, Beef.

Does the ball really make that big of a difference?

Even if it does, I would think we've been practicing with the B1G tourney balls all week.

Someone has statistics on them and how teams play using them and it is significant. I will see if I can find some to share.

Players hate them because their is too much grip and makes it hard to get a feel for their shot.

guard from RU made a big basket off a missed FT when Mich didn't box out the shooter, funny the announcers were sayin that Mich's 2 bigs didn't react on that play, we were always taught ( the 2 nearest the shooter) to say who's got the shooter on the box out.

I['m not sure if I want the O$U refs or not. Consistent not calling anything. Does that make hack-Edey work, or does it make us keep our guys on the floor?

And then they call an air-foul on Sandford. WOW!

Same on they are using in the B1G tourney. That is the same one that Wisconsin and Maryland use as well. Go look at our stats at those games. Hopefully we play well in the B1G and get more game time reps in so we are ready for the dance.

Yeah if we can win one tomorrow that would give us 2 games to practice, and then I imagine its pretty unlikely we lose in Round 1 so that would be a 3rd game to get used to it before things get tough.

IMO just from playing or shooting around some balls feel a lot different. Purdue has been using the tourney balls I'm sure. If the rims are tight you want to believe that helps the team with the closer shots.

If Purdue doesn't let Simpson go off I question if the others have enough to beat Purdue without Mag...and I haven't forgot about Spencer who will be in check

Buckeyes win again!

Really not surprising when you consider how talented they are and how much they underperformed this year.

They will be tired tomorrow but we will see how they play against Sparty.

Wins over Iowa and Wisconsin - not bad. Made enough FT's down the stretch to keep the Hawkeyes at bay. I'd give them a shot against Michigan State.

Boilers better be ready for battle tomorrow.....Rutgers is like a wounded junkyard dog with plenty of bite left.

If the ball affects Purdue, maybe it will cause them to shoot better. Lately, the only possible change is up.

I hope our Boilers want revenge tomorrow, and in a big way. They need to become the hunters from now until the end of the season. Play angry. Let’s go! Two 32 oz Modelos for dinner. Scrumptious

This is the same ball we used when at Wisconsin and Maryland. We shot terrible at both. Maybe with having more reps and using it a lot will make that change.

In a master stroke of brilliance and misdirection, Painter has had the team practicing with the tournament balls the entire season. Our 3P% is about to skyrocket!

Reminds me of one time playing ping pong at a bar during my friends bachelor party. Im normally a really good player and very competitive, but I didnt have my personal paddle, and the ones they had there were hard and have no grip.

I got beat bad the first two games, but once I adjusted I was just as good as normal, and frankly unstoppable.

May it be so with out Boilers.

What's going on here??? This BT crew (with Szelc) calling everything in the paint now as the Illini have surged a little.
