I tried Bruce Brown last night after touching base with him in person to let him know I'd be calling. No answer. I think the next phone interview he does will be his first.
But I heard that the visit went really, really well. Might help Purdue at least in some small way that they were the only school to this point to get him on campus for a game. For a game against North Carolina A&T, Purdue had a decent environment for its opener and that Brown got to see Purdue play gave him a chance to see where he can help, i.e. in replacing Rapheal Davis and the things he's brought to the table for Purdue.
The expectation remains that he will wait 'til spring, but you never know, I suppose. If he does decide to sign early, I would think Purdue would have a shot.
Not sure Indiana is still a real player there.
