I really like what he is saying at this press conference:

Emphasizing the importance of locking down players within a 3-hour radius
Emphasizing the importance of linemen
Promising an exciting style of offense that fans will enjoy
Exuding competence and an understanding of exactly what needs to be done in West Lafayette.

This is a great fit in every way. Daniels, the BOT, and Bobinski deserve a lot of credit.

I wasn't expecting the comments about recruiting the lines (esp defense) by a QB guy who admittedly hasn't had much time to study the roster in depth. It's almost criminal how few lineman were recruited and developed by the last 2 coaches. Our season, on thin ice to begin with, really tanked as soon as a couple starters on the lines went down.

3 hour radius is Indy and Chicago, lots of talent each year coming out of those two. He also has connections in Louisville obviously, which produces some nice talent as well each year. Very excited, which i believe the last time I said that about Purdue football was 2005

He knows what a AB likes and dislikes...lineman that can protect D Lineman that can knock the sight out of the opposing QB!!!

Not a bad thing to have a line in to the Louisville area coming from a powerhouse program in Kentucky. I'm sure that program has atleast 2 to 3 legit D1 players on their roster every season.
