Several news services are reporting Coach Brohm in the top 5 considerations for the ND Head Coaching job. This is great!

Although I don’t see that happening, i do hope he/PURDUE fans the fire and we use it to recruit, recruit, recruit!! Coach Brohm can position it as “I love it at Purdue, I am staying, we are building something special and I want you to come and be part of it”!!

Turn the PR machine loose and use the news/rumors to make the Purdue football machine hum!

He's being mentioned in click bait articles where they throw like 10 names at the wall.

This is the price of having a good coach. I can't imagine being a recruit or player and having to filter all this stuff out.

remember MBob is an alum of nd.

Over 18 Million dollars in year one for Louisville to get Brohm.

That’s with his buyout at Purdue, Satterfields buyout at Louisville, and a moderate salary for Brohm. That doesn’t include salaries for staff to match what Purdue spends

Not sure Louisville has that much money with the Petrino buy out and basketball woes

Hate to tell ya but Brohm to Louisville is going to happen. To be honest I'd rather keep Satterfield but all the local insiders are saying its a done deal..
You're so full of shit you stink...

I'm beginning to believe Louisville fans may be worse than UK fans...

That 18 mil is if Purdue fires Brohm.

But Brohm can walk away for 5 mil.

Still steep for Louisville.

Yeah I really would.. Brohm has won a few big games up there but his overall record is not that good.

And Satterfield has done what at Louisville? Win 6 games in a garbage conference? Lose to UK by 30+?

Give Louisville 4 years of Darrel Hazel then see how the next coach fares.

U of L has a big hole to work themsvelves out of before Brohm would be heading home. Guessing that his son will be out of high school before he makes his changes...OR...the only way it changes if a MAJOR donor ponies up all the $23+ million to create a path to make it happen. A lot of dough to bring home a coach.

I would be a lot more worried about Louisville dumping Satterfield and going after him again. That's definitely what their fanbase wants (I live in Louisville)
Yeah it’s a little unsettling how the local (Louisville area) drumbeat is regaining some volume to reach out to Brohm again and move on from Satterfield. (I’m just across the river in So. Indiana).

I just don’t believe the ACC is the equal of the Big 10 in football cache - Brohm has things trending very well at Purdue, seems to like it, and appears pretty invested.
But Louisville will always be his home and I’m always a little worried….

I'm not as long as Brian Brohm is still on staff, because if Jeff decides to go to Louisville, just promote Brian and keep on going. Brian filled in while Jeff was out with Covid and you didn't see any drop.

1 game is a bit different than running a program. And that 1 game was influenced by Jeff.

Yes, it is, but I'd be willing to roll the dice with him and guessing that would help keep some of the staff in place.

But I think it's just matter of time before someone comes calling for Brian.

Had seen him mentioned a few times for some smaller jobs early on (UConn for one), but obviously nothing came of it.

I think to get a HC job he’ll have to get somewhere away from Jeff unfortunately.

Would be nice if he did get that chance and did well.
