But the way they treat him, talk about him, and feature him all will have huge impact on recruits. No other freshman in the country is getting this type of exposure. It's just fantastic

It’s certainly speaks volumes to high profile recruits when they see the amount of national attention that he is getting with the team that has struggled to this point. I think it supports the argument that if your goal is to play at the next level then you need to find a program that will put you in the best position to show off your skills.

Agreed, to a point. My $0.02 worth is It could also be that most really talented freshmen are not at schools like Purdue. They are at the elite FB schools waiting their turn behind other players that were also once great freshman, whom had to wait their turn. PU will probably always be able to sell early playing time and exposure. Some elites want that, but some would rather play on a team contending for a NC every year.

I also really like how Brohm has used DJ Knox. I wasn't really sold on DJ those first couple years, but he's been Purdue's most complete back the past two years.
