All I know is, if I’m Bobinski, I’m offering CJB an extension with higher buyout and increased pay floor for assistants right NOW. ND being open is a worry even if they may go after Fickell/hire Freeman in house. Could see ND attempting to take him if they miss there. I’d make sure that CJB wouldn’t even think about it.

Exactly, we have to be proactive with these situations to make sure our coaches stay, especially in a coaching carousel that appears like it’s going to be as bonkers as ever.

Doubtful….Louisville just doesn’t have the funds to buy out Satterfield, buy out Brohm, then give Brohm an even modest salary with a minor increased salary pool for assistants.
I would say that Purdue will probably do an extension/raise soon enough
Plus if you’re a big ten team and you have someone else trying to get brohm don’t you just offer a huge raise to brohm so that if Louisville matches it’s even worse for them if he signs?

I thought their fans threatened to burn down Brohm's high school over him saying no last time. Now they want him again??? Or is that why this guy says he won't say no again because the threats will be even bigger??
If needed, another former college QB that had been successful in the Sun Belt, under appreciated at his current school, has a 62% winning percentage despite taking a job at shit program and will come dirt cheap as that other school will be paying most of his salary for a few seasons, allowing Purdue to spend more on quality assistants
