I know who cares he's gone but saw they have 4 recruits from the same Calif. H.S. power John Bosco in Belleflower, CA. He and some assisstants flew out to their Title game last week. Must be nice, don't think I ever heard of one team getting so many recruits from the same H.S. and across the country too. Guess they want to make sure they stick.

The incoming quarterbacks dad is Steve Clarkson, the QB trainer from Cali. He set up the NIL to get those kids all to Louisville. As a coach why would you put yourself in that situation? Interesting to see how this plays out.

I just read an article talking about Louisville’s recruiting class. It was from the Louisville paper. It talked about Carter wanting to come back and play for Louisville. It also mentioned that he and Brohm talked many times and that Brohm informed him he would be moving back to Louisville if the job opened.

This makes me believe Satterfield knew the writing was on the wall last Summer and decided to leave while the leaving was good. He knew Brohm was coming back.

And BoBO should have known as well that Brohm was planning on going back to Louisville as soon as satterfield could be removed! Brohm leaving this year should never have been a surprise. I highly doubt it was despite what BoBO may say publicly!

I have to wonder about a coach recruiting a player and telling him as part of that recruitment that he plans on coaching at a different school as soon as possible!

It was not necessary a powerhouse school, but in one Hope recruiting class; we got 4 recruits from the same FL HS. They committed after we beat OSU. Only one recruit, Ricardo Allen, was the only one that worked out. There was a WR Ross, I believe a kicker, and it seemed like the other one was a defensive player too. The last 3 ended up transferring out of Purdue. Of course, we know how well Allen did with us.

OJ Ross was OK but not spectacular. When we signed that class, everyone thought Ross would be the star, but obviously Allen turned out the much better. The third guy was a receiver named Chevin Davis, who I think, left during his freshman year.

Did you know the exact day that Satterfield would leave? There was speculation that Brohm would leave every year. How do you hire another coach when your current coach is still here and you want to keep him? I think our AD had a plan. Unless you are firing the coach, you usually do not have another coach lined up to replace him unless he is hired within your current coaching staff. I want to give our new coaching staff our support. Boiler Up.
