Sad to see someone with such potential not be able to live up to it. That stellar performance against Tennessee with two broken legs will long be remembered. I wish him well.

The way that the poor kid walked out on to the field on Sr.Day was pretty telling that he wouldn't be back. A great player that left it all on the field....

He entered the transfer portal before the spring deadline.

Doesn’t necessarily mean he’s not coming back. Maybe keeping his options open in case he’s not eligible? Ultimately I think in the NCAAs eyes you’re either eligible or not. Will be interesting to see how it shakes out. Plenty of guys out their name in the portal then don’t ultimately find a spot…and then some of those stay

I have no inside info whatsoever on Wright, but I agree, I think he probably had to enter the portal just in case he doesn't get back into Purdue. If he really wanted to transfer he could have put his name in way before 4/30. He's been off the team since Dec '21.

will always remember his performance vs Tenn, no surprise to me neither, he has a slender build and those injuries were pretty bad and will probably affect him later in life, wish him well
