Brian was right in his reporting on the Biggie Swanigan recruiting story. It has become quite clear that for some reason he never had Purdue in his top 3. There should be no doubt that Rosie Barnes was pushing Purdue all the way. Rosie has a legendary spot in Purdue BB history by way of his scuffle with Isaiah Thomas, which led Bob Knight to bringing his famous Donkey wearing a Purdue sweater on his show. Rosie is, was, and always will be a Purdue man, unfortunately Biggie isn't. Brian said that the people around Biggie (Rosie Barnes, Eugene Parker etc...) favored Purdue, and he was right. Biggie simply made his own choice.
