What’s PWO? A chance to walk on?
Also access to training table, etc.Preferred Walk On. He doesn’t have to try out to be on the team. Good chance to win a scholarship too
I think he also gets a chance to pick a practice friendly class schedule.
Horvath was a PWO
in some ways reminds me of Hermann - BurrellAlso access to training table, etc.
You beat me to it. Was going to say same thingin some ways reminds me of Hermann - Burrell
Works .. I was more wondering if he’d be able to challenge some of the big time guys we bring in for a roleAll I know is that he is big, strong and physical with good hands and doesn't like to be tackled.
I could see him evolving into a TEWorks .. I was more wondering if he’d be able to challenge some of the big time guys we bring in for a role
Anthrop II?Works .. I was more wondering if he’d be able to challenge some of the big time guys we bring in for a role
He’s 6’3” so I was thinking outsideAnthrop II?
I was thinking of the Hermann-Burrell situation too. Didn’t loser Jeff George bring his fave WR from Warren Central as well?in some ways reminds me of Hermann - Burrell
Jeff brought his Mom as well.I was thinking of the Hermann-Burrell situation too. Didn’t loser Jeff George bring his fave WR from Warren Central as well?
as i recall, jeff's mom was pretty fast. You should have seen her run onto the field. We should have signed her up.Jeff brought his Mom as well.
He was outstanding the State Finals...reminded me a great deal of John Standeford...kid can definitely play. Has to be a reason he has not garnered offers...I am guessing it is a combination of small school and measurables, but, the guy was very productive and sure looked good the two times that I watched him play.

How many yards did she get during his career?Jeff brought his Mom as well.
I'm thinking more in terms of "all the field utility player" that shines and exceeds expectations after a few years. He’s 6’3” so I was thinking outside
Does that dude still paint any car for $99.95? What. A. DEAL.Lance Scheib
Standeford was a freak, in a good way. Quick... agile... tall... with great hands. He was outstanding the State Finals...reminded me a great deal of John Standeford...kid can definitely play. That moment has to haunt him to this day. Where is Jeff George these days? I picture him wearing an apron, helping his mom bake Christmas cookies (not that helping your mom is a bad thing)Jeff brought his Mom as well.
Would be awesomeI'm thinking more in terms of "all the field utility player" that shines and exceeds expectations after a few years.

guys we can’t let the Jeff George stuff go? Lol
I didn’t know crap when I was his age. I don’t know crap now… so yes, correctAgree.. he is actually a pretty nice guy now and .. his mom has passed as of several years ago. Some pokes/jokes don’t age well if they’re raised anew
He repeatedly shamed himself at Purdue, Illinois and at multiple teams in the NFL. Do you want accolades?guys we can’t let the Jeff George stuff go?
I’m speaking retrospectively not prospectivelyHe repeatedly shamed himself at Purdue, Illinois and at multiple teams in the NFL. Do you want accolades?
There is no doubt that he was a stud, and, gifted...I mean the guy came in and stepped right in and made a difference...his brother was solid too.Standeford was a freak, in a good way. Quick... agile... tall... with great hands.
A lot of people don't realize, he was on the Indiana High School Basketball All Star team.
Interestingly, I think he also had an offer from UT coming out of HS.
I know a couple of guys who played HS ball with him who went on to play collegiately, who say he was just a stud.
I thought I heard them say during the Championship Game that he was going to the Air Force. Be good to get him.
Tell ya what, if he turned down the Air Force Academy to go to U of Indy he made a very poor choice.Good for him to be on scholarship. Maybe we'll see him in the portal if he develops further.
Good for him.. get that education paid forWell guys I just seen this...
