It's linked to anti-British control. I don't align politically with the groups that most commonly use that flag, BUT making false claims about its origins does not help anyone. I'm glad that kid had the right to wear the patch restored.

Unfortunately, a lot, not all, but a lot, of teachers are lefty libs. And if they see an opportunity to scream racism, oppression, and to virtue signal, they ain't letting that opportunity pass them by.
