No question he was a great coach who ran a clean program. Knight a lion of college basketball in the 70s and 80s. He could be insightful, engaging, even funny. He could also be a jerk. I guess that's true of most of us.
I hope he found peace in his declining years. Anger and bitterness is no way to go through life. I'm glad he made his way back to IU. I'm also glad Purdue won!

Rivalry aside, a legendary and great coach, no doubt. Yes, a lightning rod quite often, but despite that, he provided a wealth of knowledge to so many about the great game of basketball we love and follow.
