What a shit show....You know a movement is clueless on how to advance their cause when all they can come up with is to stop traffic. One of their complaints was the "8 black men murdered by Oakland police since June 2015". I looked some of these people up: One ran from police and fell into a tight gap between two buildings, causing him to suffocate to death before police could locate him. Another beat a citizen, and when a policewoman arrived on the scene he started whipping her in the face with a chain. She pulled her gun and fired in self defense. Another pointed a replica firearm at the police when they were breaking up a sideshow car rally.

I think it's a pretty intelligent peaceful protest. Their first threat here last year to close the Ravenel heading north at 5:00 had an impact even though it didn't happen and when they did shut it down traffic on the peninsula came to halt and I found myself taking the long way home.

no...it's called unlawful assembly. They wouldn't have been arrested for an intelligent peaceful protest. Their numbers are so low, they have no support. They would look pretty dumb with 10 people ranting for resignations and more handouts, so they do this instead. I organize more people for a ufc fight than these idiots do for a "protest".

Think about if this protest denied someone medical care or an emerngcy vehicle couldn't get to their destination. Pretty selfish stuff.

Ahh yes, great point. I'm sure they orchestrated this protest while precisely calculating the location of all hospitals, fire departments, & police stations on the side of the river they weren't blocking.

Good one, yes, I should get worked up over some kids blocking one direction on a bridge and causing traffic problems in protest over something they see as unjust. How dare they not understand people like you know more and just conform.

I guess they should have brought their AR-15's and then there wouldn't have been any problems.
