the difference I see is that team 2 won 2 of their 3 games on the road. the scoring differential is 70 points verses 40 points which is also huge especially for a team playing on the road. Winning by 40 points means the team won each game by an average of 13 points. So it's possible the team could have lost., but found a way to pull it out. Winning by 70, means the team was winning each game by 22 points indicating they were clearly in control.

I don't put much into the losing records of the teams team 2 has faced. Purdue has proven a team with a bad record can still be a tough team.

your record against top 25 is somewhat suspect. beating a team ranked in the top 10 like Penn State is a lot more impressive than beating a team like Boston College who is no longer in the top 25, and maybe shouldn't have been ranked in the first place.

Nebraska is 0-6. That might have something to do with it.
