Biggie...

I guess no one else on here noticed his left arm getting hacked on his last shot. Not sure what else he could do there.

Our last three shots in the lane were easy foul calls that Mr Boroski seemed to miss.

Not going to get that call on the road. Go strong or go home. He and Haas got out played the second half.

I notice a play or two before Haas was hacked by Baer and it went uncalled

He definitely got fouled. They stole the game from us clear and simple. I hope we get to knock them out of the BTT. I want to see Baer crying!

probably going to get flamed for this, but if he's going to talk the talk, he better walk the walk. He was a no show the second half and if your going to demand the ball down the stretch, you better finish.
Purdue played through him in the first half and built a nice 9-point lead that should have been more...they did not do so in the second half, and it is why they lost the game...Painter sat him more than he should have, and Purdue took WAY too many jump shots without him even touching it on a possession.

It is mind boggling how unappreciated he is...especially on THIS team...without him, Purdue is a middle of the conference and non-ranked team...heck, they may be that with him! He was outstanding in the first half when Purdue got the ball to him...they went entirely away from it in the second half.

Yes, he should have hit his shot at the end...and he will say the same...but it never should have come down to that.

Never mind, if anyone on Purdue walks the walk, it is certainly him...far more so than anyone else on that team. It is ridiculous the flack that he takes given the far more obvious flaws of other individuals and failure to not just talk the talk, but walk the walk.

My only beef was the timing of it and in my opinion, he showed up his teammates in that instance. Very vocal and animated. Broadcast pointed it out. He got a good look then didn't finish. He makes that and the legend grows.

He's appreciated, but had a bad night. He got lit up on D by Kreaner, who plays about 3 min. a game and like I said, if your going to demand the ball, you better finish. I personally think Biggie needs another year to absolutely dominate. He's a very good player, but still very turnover prone. Would be in an elite class next year.

He gave up a jump shot to Kreaner...a single one...and, personally, I am more than content in the fact that he did, as I would let Kreaner shoot a jump shot every single time opposed to him take him down in the post, where he actually "lit up" Haas and not Biggie.

I am all for the notion of that if he demands the ball, he needs to finish...and I am confident that he again would say the exact same thing...and he absolutely should have finished...but, I have no problem at all with respect to what he did, as he was open time and time again in the post, after having been dominant in the first half, only to watch someone take an ill-advised three time and time again, never more so than on the play in which he reacted as he did, as he was literally standing alone in the post and nobody even glanced at him before another ill-advised three was launched without so much as three guys touching the ball on the possession and no more than 10 seconds having gone off the shot clock.

I don't think Baer cries. Fans who cry about refs paying no attention to calls that go their way? Just babies. Bohanon had two clean strips that would have resulted in turnovers and called for foul. First half Iowa had three clean blocks called fouls lead to 6 free throws.
Goes both ways. You lost. Deal with it. You lost because Iowa owns you in Iowa city. You saw our freshman...get used to losing to us frequently.

To be fair, we didn't lose "because Iowa owns [us] in Iowa City", we lost because we had 11 TOs, missed some open shots at the end, and didn't capitalize on Iowa's horrific FT shooting (to name a few things).

Also, "get used to losing to us frequently"? LOL. Okay.

As soon as he screamed "Give me the damn ball" I knew we were finished. Showed up his teammates, told Iowa how to defend down the stretch, and gave the Hawkeyes a significant boost of confidence knowing they had us beat mentally. Great player but if you're going to put yourself above the team, you better be able to back it up. Oh, and maybe play a little defense too.
