The Democrats know the will lose the Senate and probably the House in the mid-terms.
Their policies won't save them so their only chance at retaining power is to change the voting laws.
It will be interesting, if this passes, which I doubt it will, what stance the USSC will take.
The US Constitution clearly states that the State Legislature dictates voting laws.
