Best Stadiums in College Football

I have been to 16 of these, including 10 of the top 11. They all were pretty special places. Don't have a favorite.

How could Memorial Stadium not be on this list? Travesty.

My son goes to Texas A&M and we took in a game last fall. I think part of what makes the stadium is the atmosphere the fans bring with it. It can appear corny at first, but the orchestrated cheers via the yell leaders and some of the traditions that seemingly everyone seems to know about it, made the experience. Even the Kentucky fans that we were sitting among were saying things like, “wow... the atmosphere at our games is nothing like this.”

This is horribly written. But I’ll comment on my experiences.

I’ve been to the following stadiums:
Psu
Michigan
MSU
Nd
Toledo
Wisconsin
Illinois
Northwestern
Rice

PSU was by far the best atmosphere. Wisconsin was probably second. Michigan’s atmosphere kinda sucked. OSU is the place that is on my bucket list.

Northwestern,after Purdue is up by 28 we watched the sail boats on Lake Michigan. Years ago can`t do it now they are to tough year after year.
