Does anyone know how the visits went with Bell and Wright? I was told they were both there at the game. I did not get a chance to see them, since we were almost late to the game due to an accident on 65N yesterday.

I did not see Bell post anything on his twitter account as of last night. I am not sure if Wright has a twitter account.

Also, the guys behind us said that Larry Tracy was there, the IU commit. Anyone else see him?

Are we looking at another DB or was he there to see Iowa, since he verballed to them at one point?

A question of do you want to play in bowls and in front of sold out stadiums. We had 60,700 there last night. Or do you want to be home for the holidays and play at home to 3 quarter empty stadiums, except when the Michigan's and Ohio State's bring their fans.

Someone wrote that James was at the game. He is an IU commit. Strange that he would go if solid. I do not know if this is true but maybe some folks are having second thoughts.
If you’re talking about the thread on the IU forum, the comment was just that Sampson was looking at Purdue. Perhaps you’re referring to something else if he was at the game.

Bell tells Josh Hemholdt that he's not 100% sure he's going to take his official iu visit.

Visits with both went very well and they were there through Monday. Purdue has a great chance with both, and probably are the leaders for Bell atm, although PSU will still be tough to beat.

I thought capacity was in the 56k area? Or does that not count how many they can squeeze into Shively and Buchanon?

All I know is I don’t want to see a lot of red when Wisconsin is here!!
I’m bringing a Wisconsin grad to the game with me. Apologies in advance!

It’s been fun to watch his confidence in the game steadily decline as the season has progressed. He’s gone from thinking Wisconsin will walk all over us, to hoping we don’t drop a 50 piece on them.

If we can control Taylor, I like our chances.

When you say “control Taylor” I’m sure you realize that you are simplifying the actual task because the Badgers foundational strength is not running back, it’s their offensive and defensive lines. It will be a brutal war in the trenches that coach Brohm and staff will be challenged to figure out how to negate, at least to some extent - Boiler Up!!!!

maybe, but that depends.

if we can completely control their passing game, I'll give them 200 yards offense on the ground.

Bend don't break D. I remember when we shut down Ron Dayne in Tiller's first year and Dicken carved up their D.

I was at a wedding that day.

Good grief. Who schedules a wedding reception DURING COLLEGE FOOTBALL SEASON??! (j/k)

My brother scheduled his wedding for Purdue/OSU; the Drew Brees to Seth Morales game. Entire groom's wedding party was in some classroom under the church huddled around a small TV watching the beginning of the game, then we all rushed to the wedding reception and found a TV there to see the last quarter. Worst timing of a wedding ever.

Nice!

I recall that one, as well. I was at a birthday party for a nephew, 2 hours from home

Some people have ZERO consideration . . . !
