Beating out MSU for Swanigan and now Eastern

Hopefully this means we have turned the corner in recruiting. Love the Eastern-Carsen pairing, but we still need a top 50 type frontcourt stud in 2017 or 2018.

A high draft position for Swanigan and Haas will go a long way towards helping us attract a 5 star F/C. First up, Epperson #58 on Scout, but I'm pretty confident we will get our front court stud in 2018 when there is immediate playing time in the post Haas-Swanigan-Vince era

Izzo has hit a small dry spell in terms of final fours and still has just one championship, and had a surprising early tourney exit last year. If Purdue can out perform the Spartans this year and have a better tourney run (a big if perhaps, but not impossible), the tides can start to turn. A challenge because MSU still has top recruits. But, I think we have a chance to change things. Getting Biggie and Eastern does not hurt.
