BCs first half drives

Can you imagine how good we would look if we had played the 3 teams that they have played?

We DID play EMU and lost. Notherwestwen looks like it's about on par with how Illinois has played thus far.

Offense averaging 500+ yards a game and with a legit Heisman hopeful.
Was talking about how unfortunate the 0-3 start was given Purdue now looks like it legitimately could win at Nebraska and at Illinois to get to 3-3. Had Purdue won those first three and been able to get to 6-0, you would likely be looking at a top 15-20 team playing a top 5 OSU team at home for a night game. It would have been Gameday in West Lafayette again and the rebuild Brohm has done would have been fast-tracked even more.

That being said, Purdue can still get to 3-3 with wins against Nebraska and Illinois but both of those teams spread teams out and that has been Purdue's weakness so far this season. If they can have a similar defensive showing against the next two teams, I'll be more optimistic about getting to 6 wins and a bowl game. The additional practices would mean so much to those younger players getting as much time with the coaches as possible.

Is there any way to get the stats broken down by halves? I would love to see the stats minus the last touchdown drive by BC.
A win is a win...but it would have looked a whole better and more reflective of the game on the scoreboard and in the stats if they wouldn't have scored that last TD.

The last drive was 80 yards. BC ended the game with 229 total yards, so about 35% of their offensive production came with less than 3 minutes left in the game.

I think they had 57 at half and only 229 total, with 70 of that coming in garbage time.

They had 98 entering the 4th quarter.

Then they had a drive that stalled on downs at around the 35, then the TD drive.

If Purdue got to go back after the Bc game and take a time machine back to weeks earlier, even if they looked good, they’d likely only be 3-1. Missouri is just a better team.. they played Georgia and didn’t suck
