I knew I should have bookmarked it when someone posted it a couple of weeks ago, but could someone please post a link to the website that allows you to fill in the winners of the remaining games and then it shows the BTT seeding?

Thanks!

SO, Iowa ... Michigan .... Maryland ... is the probable route. Michigan will have played two games to our one ... shooting threes requires strong legs ... just rambling incoherent thoughts

Ooops, I changed the future to have Michigan beat Northwestern.

I would be all for re-seeding after the initial round. Let the 7-14 teams play in inverted order (7/14, 8/13, 9/12, 10/11) and then reseed for the next games where the #1 gets the lowest remaining seed, the #2 gets the second lowest, and so forth.

This is probably the first tournament I'll be rooting for chalk. I would rather play Maryland and Wisconsin than anyone but IU, Illinois, OSU, and Rutgers. Assuming we can get past our first game. Iowa.. eek!

Minnesota is the only team that I think can beat Purdue on a neutral court. Hopefully they don't make it to the #4 seed. At least as a 5 they be playing their third game and possibly could show some tired legs.
I really don't want to play MSU for a 3rd time either. Sooner or later Izzo will figure out a way to beat us.

I happen to think that this is the best scenario for Purdue for the BTT. Need Maryland and Whisky to push Maryland to the bottom of the bracket as the #3 while making MSU play another game against Minnesota before the winner of that game plays Purdue. This would more than likely leave Whisky or Maryland in the BTT where at that point....seeding has already probably been figured out and has no impact.

That site is really cool.

I ran a few different scenarios (including a couple where we lose at Northwestern), and I kept getting Michigan, Illinois, and Iowa as the most likely 8/9 game teams. So, I'm guessing one of those three will end up being Purdue's Friday opponent.

I, too, would like another crack at Minnesota --- not so much out of revenge (they earned their W in Mackey, and I don't begrudge them for it), but rather because they're the best chance for a "big" win in the B10 Tournament.

That Minnesota @ Wisconsin game to close the regular season is looking very, very big.

I think there's over 10 scenarios left given how tight things are between 3-8 or what not.

I'm the opposite. I would savor watching them get payback on Iowa, if it shakes out that way.

Unfortunately beating Iowa would do nothing for our RPI or tournament resume. Only top 50 wins will move the needle at this point, and of those we'll probably need at least 2 more just to get a 4 seed.

I'm not concerned about that.

In the bracket above, Iowa (along with Illinois) were projected (as of today) to be the potential matchup for the Boilers on Friday, March 10th. I was responding based off of that and the comment above about not wanting to play Iowa.

I hear what you're saying FDB, but if Purdue would end up advancing beating lower-ranked upset winners on its side of the bracket, I don't know if that would in and of itself prevent a 4-seed. Dry has worn me down, though......I hate this freaking obsession with RPI by the committee if it comes to that.....we shall see.

Oooh do I have the post for you then! :D

I get what you're saying, but I think all you have to do to beat MSU at this point is don't let #22 score 50 on you. I don't know that he has the squad to get it done this year.
