Bazley was a long shot, but Syracuse is an interesting choice. He has the athleticism to fit in. He probably could have gone anywhere. He is a beast on the boards. He should be fun to watch at the next level. Unfortunately, he won't be in gold and black. I wouldn't really call it a miss, because after the decomitment from OSU, he git offers from a lot of top teams. Painter offered, but I don't know how serious either side was.

Ya, I never really expected it to play out, but we did offer twice. The problem is, once he left OSU, he was a top 50 on everybody's radar. Some weren't thrilled about the way he left, but he is a heck of a player. Just putting the info out more than anything. I never considered him a realistic option. More like a pipe dream.
