Baylor to interview Brohm?

Baylor is dead I mean they have 1 commit. It's pretty much the closest we will see of a modern death penalty.

I was optimistic at first but the more this goes the more I realize how far the program has fallen. I'm hopeful they are able to hire someone decent, but i am expecting a shot to the groin.

If we end up with a Skip Holtz or the link I am lighting my jersey on fire and never coming back.
If we have to settle for a plan Q candidate, at least pay them accordingly, with a buyout that allows us to cut bait after 3 years if we are going nowhere.

What about Lincoln Riley?

Not sure some of them would want the job.

Just shows how 2 bad hires have set us back in national perception. We can thank Burke for this mess.

Don't include Hope. He lead us to the 2nd most bowl games of anyone since Young & there were enough toys to win with when he left. This is on Hazell....

Hope benefited quite a bit from having some of Tiller's recruits, Elliott, Kerrigan, etc. Also, he completely ignored and overlooked IN high schools and other Midwestern areas for states like FL, where we got the hand me downs in many recruits that Florida, Florida State, Miami, etc. did not want, Allen and Mosert are exceptions to the rule. A new coach is going to have to repair those relationships that date back to Hope to be able to get back to the types of teams we saw in the past.

Elliott & Kerrigan were gone after Yr 1.
Indiana s*cks as a recruiting area vs Florida.
Deal with it...

We need to recruit Indiana better but we have to be able to supplement it. It doesn't have to be one state. At times we've seemed to focus on Texas or Florida but we also can land players from those places, Illinois, Ohio, Kentucky, Georgia, Tennessee, etc. I just don't think we can get enough talent by focusing on only Indiana but we also can't get enough if we ignore it.

Except that Purdue pretty much self-imposed one with the ineptitude and indifference with respect to the athletic department, and football program in particular.
