After a few conversations around here (one being Mason's free-throw line jumper), I went to look into this more. Bart Torvik has some great data about shots and efficiencies if you've never checked out his stuff. A few interesting notes I found today.
Purdue is

Also, I'm not here to beat a dead horse, but I didn't realize Torvik had a "most similar efficiency profile" tab. Those include:
Among some others. But no one past the Elite 8. But also, no #1 seeds...
Now before everyone gets their panties in a wad, he also has "most similar resumes" tab. Those include:
Purdue is
- 83-90 (92.2%) on dunks
- 302-408 (74.0%) on close 2's (dunks, tip ins, and layups)
- 112-319 (35.1%) on far 2's (floaters, non-3 jumpers, etc)
