Pretty darn good game. Best of the conf Championships, IMO.

I'm kindof rooting for Wisco bc if a 2nd B1G team has a chance of getting into the Playoff, I'd rather it be MICH rather than PSU (I don't think they'd put Wisco in over MICH, but they might put PSU in over MICH).

Regardless, I think WASH gets that #4 spot, I just think MICH would give Bama a better game.

I don't think the Big Ten is getting a second team in barring Clemson losing. I'd be ok with Penn State though. Haven't much cared for Wisconsin football from the Bielema days.

Harbaugh is too darn arrogant for me to want his team to be presented with a playoff spot to further inflate his swelled head. Besides I'm from Pennsylvania, so GOOOO Lions

No way O$U should be in IMO. I'd like to see the B1G champ in before them.

Ohio State benefited from not being in the Championship game, IMO. Losing to Wisconsin was the only way they'd be left out. 3-1 against the top 10.

Penn State just stopped Wisconsin on 4th down. That last drive was curiously resembling Purdue clock management.....Badgers turned that possession into one final shot.

Got to hand it to Penn State. That fan base has been through a lot (though I know the atrocities warranted the "death sentence"). It's all about recruiting and even with the horrendous scandal they managed to get the talent. Let's hope our new coach can EXCEED Penn State's turn around at Purdue. BTFU!

CONGRATS PSU!

I think this is how the final 10 are ranked;

1. Alabama
2. Ohio State
3. Washington
4. Clemson
*
5. Penn State
6. Michigan
7. Oklahoma
8. USC
9. Wisconsin
10. Florida State

Not saying I agree, just how I think they'll be ranked.

Really...been through "a lot"?

I see it entirely differently...and even commented tonight, PSU got off beyond easy for their transgressions, which is precisely why they were even in a position to play in tonight's game.

As you alluded to...they deserved the death penalty...instead, they got almost nothing, and as far as their fan base is concerned, they have remained disillusioned, arrogant, and pompous throughout.

I assumed Clemson was #3.

Right now, I think PSU would beat Washington head to head.

I think the current 4 team + committee approach will be revised regardless

They might be, but they might also slip to #4 based on Wash crushing CO and VT hanging with them.

IMO Bama and tOSU are locked in 1-2.

Plus, the committee might want a rematch of last year Natty in the first round (Bama vs Clem), and the traditional B1G vs PAC in the other first round match-up, hoping it ends up tOSU vs Bama in the Finals (B1G vs SEC, Meyer vs Saban, blah blah).

That's my tin-foil head prediction.

And yes, I think both PSU and MICH would beat WASH.

I work with a few Penn State grads and they were all sad and upset about Sandusky atrocities. They handled it well though they heard a lot from people, almost as if they were to blame. They are great people like you or I, and they love their FB team. This Penn State team, FB staff, and school admin had nothing to do with those heinous acts and it isn't the fault of my friend alums that the NCAA didn't give them the death penalty. That all said, they should have received that penalty. If anything on God's green earth should have deserve it, that was it. You will never see me defend the NCAA and how they meet out punishment (or lack thereof).
