Want to check to see if I have all the rule changes correct. This is my understanding of the changes:
- shot clock shortened from 35 to 30 seconds
- restricted arc where a defensive player can camp out around the basket extended to 4 feet from 3 feet
- team time outs per game reduced to 4 from 5 with no more than a total of 3 timeouts being carried over to the 2nd half
Is this correct and are there any others? I seem to remember something having to do with media time outs but can't find anything on that. I know they were thinking of experimenting with 6 fouls in lieu of 5 but I think that got nixed.
