All boils down to recruiting you cannot have a team full of kids ranked out of the top 100 and think you're going to compete with these more athletic teams.
Old habits are hard to break. NCS and SMU just beat a team Arizona with quite a few of top 50 5star prospects right. Both teams has very few 4star or 3star recruit and beat a team who has potentially 2 nba 1st or a 2nd round picks. What are there excuses for loosing to 2 teams ranked well outside the top 25. Arizona was picked to win not only this tournament but get to a final 4 and possibly win the natl championship. Kentucky is barely squeaking out wins against no star players on some of the teams they have barley beaten. Look at some of the loses across the board of top 25 team with top 50 players on them many of those teams not winning many games and if they are barely beating low major teams. So pump your brakes on this 5star BS teams with those unranked players got chips on their shoulders and got lots to prove and going out there proving what I have said all alone star status mean nothing once you in college. Northern Iowa not a single 4star recruit but playing in the championship game tomorrow. They playing with confidence and heart and sometimes that is all you need to motivate a team to go out and play like a team ranking or player rankings mean nothing when you step in between those court lines. Stop with your negativie rhetoric it’s getting old.
