Painter, in my opinion, coached maybe better than he did with Moore, Johnson, et al.
As a guy who's coached a lot of years, this was a fun team to watch, and to see the development of PJ over the years to this one, to see Dokata so much better, to watch the good Swanigan when he showed up which was most games, and to see a passionate coach on the sidelines was a treat for me.
Purdue's not going to get a Donovan, a Brad Stevens, or even a Bill Self and Painter is widely respected among his peers. He's getting better and this year was a good one.
So at 7:00 PM tonight, let's all hoist one to this year's success and what could be a very good team next year and down the road.
