Anyone else happy Cline is back?........

Yes. Great shooter on a team of really great shooters! Amazing the change in these kids this year. Top 5 in the country shooting threes. Wow. Loving it!

Yea there was someone here that was badmouthing Cline and how we didn't need him back and I could not disagree more. First of all, you can never have enough shooters and he could be our best. Second, with Spike out we would be nearly as thin in the backcourt without him as we are in the frontcourt.

ditto on what everyone else has said.

i think he's notably better on defense this year as well. Not saying he's a great defender, but he is marking his man well and also playing good position D.

he was also bringing the ball up well in mop up duty. Good to know he can bring it up if needed (tho he would be deep down on the list after PJ, Carsen).

We want him to be more than one-dimensional on offense, but as long as he's doing really well in that one-dimension, I can't be discouraged.

Yes. We will have plenty of nights that certain guys aren't hitting their shots. He gives us another option.

Right now (with Spike Albrecht out), there are still four players shooting well with confidence:

DM, CE, PJT, and RC....when SA is back, he would hopefully join that group. The more the merrier they say.

Then, there are two other wing players very capable but probably need to be a little selective given their positions/roles....that's CS and VE. Basil Smotherman has shown flashes, but I'm guessing CMP doesn't want him taking too many threes.....at least not yet, IMO.

This is definitely at least a step in that department from last year's fine team. Plus, to me, the best thing about it is not just the current hot streak but that most of these shots are coming in the general flow of the game/offense......really good looks from what I am seeing, admittedly as a novice.....and through Black & Gold glasses somewhat.

Now if Isaac Haas hits a three this year, I may need resuscitation.

I was never happy that he was gone. Glad he is having success and hope it can all turn into a productive life lesson for him and his teammates.
