Her contract is up next year and the buy out goes bye, bye.
This is not a good year, COVID, to spend money on a buy out especially when Painter and Brohm took cuts because of the lost revenue.

Yep, she's getting the final year, would love to see Katie brought in as an assistant. Coaching a USA select team is a good thing.

It is appearing more and more that she will at least have another year and, in fairness, if she does well may get extended. I do not, like many of us, think that is a good idea, but we are just fans.
I will now be surprised if there is a change for next year.But if she is not extended recruting will be impossible. Unless, he totally does not care, the AD is in a bind. No extension would a vote of no confidence and it would ve hard to convince a player that this was a good place to play.

I know this, if she returns she needs to hit the transfer market hard and aim for a good starting type of player, they'll be out there! Preferable in the front court, back court seems pretty set.
