Any Known Tweaks to the Uniforms This Year?

Like painting buckeyes on the bottom of their shoes?
If your on twitter you can ask boileruniforms or possibly Brian might be provided that info. I imagine the Nebraska game will be under the lights so that would be the game to for a special uni
I realize it's much too late to implement this but given the 150th anniversary of the university, it would have been neat to do what the Cincinnati Reds are doing this season and trot out various throwback uniforms over the course of the schedule.
Some options (while making like Winston Smith at the Ministry of Truth and throwing the 2002-2003 gold jerseys/white pants and the Hazell-era unis in the memory hole):

It's a nice thought and you provide great examples; several throwback uniforms in one season can be very pricey, so it's not really feasible.
The three-stripe helmet would look great and easy enough to achieve on either the OLD GOLD or black helmet. The Chicago
Bears are wearing 1936 throwbacks in honor of their 100th anniversary, and they really did a great job executing it:
One well-executed throwback uniform would be nice for us this season, and maybe it will happen; all I know is I hope that these two don't have anything to do with it:

yes and those drab Gray uni's, Dierking's uni looks the best above, from my era too.
2nd the motion on ditching the god awful grey uniforms....anyone happen to catch the Stinson highlight? He be one fast dude.......another good pick up....
I don't mind the anthracite once a year under the lights. Nobody is confusing an anthracite alternate uni with the primary school colors. It's kind of like the all whites. And recruits seem to love them, which is good enough for me. Soon the fad will die out and we can move on to a different flavor-of-the-day alternate uni.
But I don't know a single Purdue fan or recruit who prefers khaki/beige/vegas gold, which has made its way into the color palette as an everyday substitute for the real thing.
I see the Alstott Brees uniforms and still cannot fathom how that gold was ditched for Vegas gold.

Yes! Uniform talk...I love it. A combo of the design of the uniform and helmet Kyle Orton is wearing in Professor Emeritus' post with the color scheme of the uniforms Brees and Alstott are wearing in that post would be my perfect Purdue uniform. Also, road uniform would be that same design with the black pants and white jersey and same helmet.
The 1898 knitted turtlenecks look stylish, European and gay-not that there's anything wrong with that
