Any chance CMP goes after Tim Finke from Champaign?

kind of surprised to see him still not committed given his ties to the Illini. Saw he had interest in Purdue but no offer. He would seem to slide in to that idea of positionless basketball as he is a 6'7 guard...yes, a 6'7 guard. His brother was the same type of player before hitting a huge growth spurt and getting to 7'.

I have a friend who is from Champaign and he says Finke is a real solid player and one Purdue would be better with getting. He would really press the other team's ability to guard two very tall guards if paired with Eastern.

Question is... can he shoot a jumpshot consistently? I've heard Eastern isn't the best shooter (will get better with time) but it would kind of scare me to have two guards on the floor who can't shoot the basketball particularly well. Would remind me of the Terone-Ronnie days (then again they both weren't close to 6'6). Definitely would be an interesting backcourt duo if it could work out. Wth that length, painter couldn't say no to zone!
