Retail mega giant WALMART becomes the latest in a long list of companies to ditch DEI. Want to Focus on customer as the top priority....duhhh.

Some here slow to the table and a long way around the barn still think DEI is of value. But folks it's dying and where it's not, they are planning the funeral......Good riddance.

I still do not business with WalMart. Never have and my guess, I never will.

I prefer it to Amazon. Less Chinese crap. Fun to see the cast of characters shopping there if you try in person

What's your beef with Wally World?

Some companies are finally learning what "Go Woke, Go Broke" means. Good for Wally Worlds. I'll make a stop in there today for some stuff.

Apparently the lefty libs at Jaguar didn't learn anything from Bud Light. They'll see it in the sales numbers though.

Flies on the doughnuts for one.
That's a small price to pay for saving money!
I like Wally World because you can get the most of the same brand name stuff you get at the higher end grocery store but at a much better price. Good savings on booze as well.

coseco has good savings on booze and you don't have to be a member to buy

Yup, we're Costcoers. Problem is, you walk in there, you're in for $200 without even thinking about it.
I FULLY know the $200 plus part. ;) I paid a bit high for the "Purdue wine", but have to bottle for all to see. ;)

You'll need it Saturday night, my friend.
Sitting through the ND game numbed me for the season! I do however have other choices than wine. Next Monday and Sunday like groundhogs coming out of their hole, we will see more IU fans than usual I expect!

Ever had gas station sushi? In the words of Joe Biden....."Don't"
The Four Pillars of the Biden Administration:

1. Transgenders - If a man has Frankenstein surgery on his genitals, he becomes a woman.
2. Bidenomics – If the price of gasoline goes up, the President has no control over the price of gas. If the price of gasoline goes down, the President did it.
3. Border Security - Invite illegal immigrants to walk into our country. Feed them, shelter them, kissy-huggy them.
4. DEI – Judge them by the color of their skin rather than the content of their character.

And no flies in the food. And Costco treats employees like they are the valuable commodity they actually are. I haven't seen the inside of a Wally Mart in probably 15 years. Or longer.
I've never had anything to eat at Costco other than what they hand out. Thought about Pizza at time. Wife stumbled upon an Italian place that seems good. Brought some pizza home and it approximated Italy. The crust was good and the pizza similar to Italy meaning tasty, but less sauce and slightly less cheese than the USA typical.

You know what's funny is my company still has these million dollar DEI salaries for people to check a box and offer nothing, but let hundreds of "worker bees" go. Do you think the Chief DEI Officer is stepping in to pick up the slack?

If these virtue signaling companies (I was unfortunately part of one as well) would actually do an audit and analysis on what ROI they get from having a chief DEI person and program, they'd probably realize what a waste of money it is. They provide no benefit whatsoever other than to appease the race hustlers and blackmailers.

One of the largest companies in Indiana does also as my wife's company. No one likes the DEI trainings she & her coworkers attend. They say so privately. The key point though......Since adoption of DEI her annual profit check has wained. Well....duh.

Mainly the entire HR department exists to prevent the company from being sued. They don't give AF about employees. So you're absolutely right. But once they get in they set the rules so like termites they're hard to get out.
