Justin Walker, sophomore of Lafeytte Jeff just committed to IU. His dad played baseball at Purdue & held a Purdue offer. A lot of talent in our local area. Purdue missing out on a lot of it.
Also, crazy impressive kid, Jackson Smeltz, out of McCutcheon that will be a sophomore next year who's already throwing in the upper 80's. Tall lanky lefty with nice deceptive delivery. Kid is going to be big time. Hopefully Purdue can lure him in, if he decides to play college ball.
