Classic @td75 tonight:

“It’s disappointing that Purdue can make such an awesome hire, they have absolutely nothing on IU. I would argue all day long that IU has it all over Purdue in many regards.” He can’t really be this stupid can he?

He should have been happy this weekend that they did not lose this weekend, but of course that was only due to it being a bye weekend for IU.

Yes. Yes he can. And he proves it with every post.

Sounds good! HHS has a pretty solid defense that might frustrate New Pal for a half.
I think you’ll enjoy watching Ralph’s offense. I know some guys on his staff, and they describe him as a savant. Can break down what a defense is doing from the sideline, in real time, and make the necessary adjustments.

HoosierJimbo is a real brainiac also. Last Saturday, he started a thread titled “And PU Sucks”, then later that evening was insisting that despite our football team sucking, the coach of that sucky team would be in high demand and would be recruited away at the season.

Sampson is considered blue chip? Asking because I honestly don’t know.

A bird in the hand is worth more than a chicken in the bush or how ever that saying goes.
Ranked around 200 in the country. I’d say that’s blue chip. And it would be a gut punch for IU.

But we don’t want to get Allen fired, so maybe we let them have him.

If you do come for the game, please let me know. I have to be at the field at 6pm for music as I am the stadium music/sound guy...but could spare a few minutes either before or after to put a name to a face.

But with us getting King would we want Sampson?
Differently styles of backs and you know Brohm likes to have options.

King is a shifty back that has ability to make people miss in the open field and stretch plays to the sideline for big gains.

James, after watching his tape from his junior year, remind me a lot Tevin Coleman. A taller back at 6’1 (likely 6’2 now) who runs more north and south and hits the hole with authority. He’ll make a move but it’s mostly while still going north and south.

You take James and release another skill position guy on offense, most likely another RB.

Yes, he can!! Or was that a rhetorical question??

I was thinking it would be easier to list all of the intelligent posters over there, but then again...

It would obviously be a shorter list, but can we name anyone?
Peegs used to have a poster named Bruce Strom but I got kicked off of that site so I dont know if he still posts there or not.He was rational and thoughtful when he posted.

Yes, in addition to what others have already said (very talented recruit, gut punch to IU), I think we need to start dominating the state of Indiana for recruits......make a statement and kick sand in IU's face at the same time.

Also, Running Back needs lots of depth. Those guys take a beating. Take 3 Rbs, redshirt 2 of them, and focus on Linemen and other positions next year. If Sampson was a project, I would not take him, but I gotta take the #2 player in the state if I can.....especially since it means I won't have to face him in an IU uniform for 4 years.
