Pretty much said everything is false...much to the chagrin of the Louisville fans reporting a meltdown (or grieving...like losing a football coach causes one to grieve...what a joke) and the IU fans that want him gone
Perhaps I am being too much of a semanticist but I find it disconcerting that while saying the report is false he never takes the most obvious and important step of further saying "I am staying at Purdue and I am not going to coach at Louisville."
I am hearing more that " the report that it will be announced next week that I am coaching Louisville is completely false."
Those are 2 different things in my mind.
Because that would be stupid of him to say unless he had a deal with either school. He knows how to play this. He's going to get paid by one of these schools. I still think it's 50/50.
I understand the money thing. I am simply asserting that he isn't saying it's false that he is going to Louisville, as suggested by other posts.
