You can lose to Wisconsin and still be a ways better than northwesternI kind of see their point. I'll admit, if the Iowa game was the only time I'd seen Iowa and Purdue play, I would see Purdue being ranked. Unfortunately, I think Iowa was a bit over-ranked (as even most of their own fans admitted), and Purdue just played a great game and caught them with their pants down a bit. Now, should the boys take out Wisconsin, I will admit I'm wrong, and they deserve to be ranked. It's not that Wisconsin is great, but it would show consistency and I believe a nice 'bonus' would be deserved for ending a ridiculously long losing streak.
Yeah that's what I don't get. Northwestern and Purdue fans both have better options in terms of price and opponent. Are there that many folks in Chicago with nothing better to do. Or are there literally 30k fans between the two schools that can't miss a single game regardless of the price tag?
