And the beat keeps going for Ohio $tate.....

Really? Not getting NBA exposure (or showcase skills) at OSU or any Big 10 school for that matter? Those comments are just silly.

He might be referring to playing for a school that is likely to play multiple games in the NCAA Tournament as more "exposure" (since that's when the ratings for college hoops are at its highest) as opposed to playing for Ohio State, who he obviously doubts, regarding their tourney chances in the near future.

He sure wants to play for a NCAA championship team! I wonder if he's willing to lower his sites to play for a lowly sweet 16 team like Purdue ?

I agree. I know he is just a kid, but if he is a good player and works hard the NBA will find him.

Sounds like his plan is to ride Romeo Langford for exposure during AAU season and then jump on which ever offer from a school like Kansas, Louisville, or Kentucky comes first.

He is talented and I'm glad Purdue re-upped their offer, but I know he's not coming after reading those comments about how the recruiting class ahead of him with two 4 stars isn't good enough.

I'd much rather Purdue go hard after players that think they can be the difference makers to get a program to improve once they arrive.

4 star with a different mentality it appears. Just how tough mentally do you think he is? No doubt a talent, no doubt a player that can help a team...especially if that team is really good, but I wonder how much internal confidence he has? Biggie's mental approach was sooooooo much different and he was a five star. he thought he could go to Purdue and carry them...this guy needs lots of help...

As I look at OSU, a couple of breaks here and there , and they could have been a 20 win, NCAA tourney team. they could have / should have beaten Purdue, but we pulled it out with a magical shot.

Maybe I'm misinterpreting his comments. Did OSU change that much since his commitment?

OSU had and has plenty of talent that he could shine. The only lucky shot I recall was the Loving's at the end of the half. I do recall it being close and Purdue very fortunate to win there, but can't recall the specific shot you were mentioning.

I don't recall a magical shot either. Caleb Swanigan split a pair of FT's late to give Purdue its margin of victory. The Boilers led almost the entire second half....Ohio State stayed close and tied it a couple of times.....certainly fortunate for the Boilers to hold on, especially with the last shot being a potential game-winner. I suppose it felt like magic for CMP to finally get a second win in the Value Center Arena House of Horrors.
