I don't think this changes much for Purdue. Our guys have to be focused on making a strong run in March no matter what the rest of the league does. That starts with winning @Northwestern.

Wisconsin and Maryland fading might actually hurt our cause. Those two certainly aren't doing anything to improve the national perception of the B1G. Thankfully Minnesota is surging. Hopefully we get a 2nd crack at them in DC.

Iowa is also surging and we played them twice. Won't pretend to understand everything about the RPI but shouldn't a team we played twice beating a team we played once be a good thing for our SOS?

The good news is that this win by Iowa pretty well guarantees that they will now stay in the top 100 RPI even if they lose their next two games. That means that it is nearly impossible for Purdue to have another "bad" loss before the tourney.
