Disclosure, I never think this will happen, or even be considered, but fun to think about.

After reading some of the Bubble Score thread below, it got me thinking. Would you be for or against the NCAA devising a scoring system to earn your way into the NCAA tournament? They would still have all the at large bids, then seed however they want to seed (I know they have to move teams up and down seeds to make the bracket work), but maybe devise a scoring system to get the at large teams. Kind of like a BCS system. You know there will have to be some kind of flaws and how long would that take to work out the kinks? Would it be more interesting to you watching the last week knowing that certain teams would have to get certain wins to make it, knock teams out, etc.. Kind of like watching week 17 of the NFL season.

It would be difficult to come up with a scoring system, but I'm sure with a little work it could be done. I am not sure if I would like it or not. Part of me thinks it would be nice because then there is no objectivity and "eye ball test" when selecting. No teams will get a bias take. Your score gets you in or it leaves you out.
