I had high hopes for Alaimo, but was pretty disappointed with the performance in the LSU game. Quite frankly he didn't look coached up to me. Odd delivery and not a very good ball compared to AOC.

On a side note, had AOC not come back we probably would have won like 3 games.

when Allen came back that sealed it and not starting the bowl game didn't help. Time to move on and leave this mess.

yup. he had a chance to show he belonged. there had to be a reason Burton started that game and stayed in as long as he did. and we all saw why.

Yeah, I agree. When Burton started the bowl game, it was a pretty clear signal that something wasn't clicking for Alaimo.

I wish him the best elsewhere. Hopefully Card, Allen, and Browne can accomplish great things.

Probably. I would have liked to have kept him in the fold though. New system, a lot of inexperience. More bodies would be nice.

Card did not come to Purdue not to start. Alaimo wants to be a starter. Counting on an injury is not a good option. So Alaimo decided to go elsewhere. It makes sense. It does not make him a bad guy. Card came here for similar reasons. Allen has the advantage of time the Alaimo does not have.
