Thought this would happen once Allen came back.
I had high hopes for Alaimo, but was pretty disappointed with the performance in the LSU game. Quite frankly he didn't look coached up to me. Odd delivery and not a very good ball compared to AOC.
On a side note, had AOC not come back we probably would have won like 3 games.
when Allen came back that sealed it and not starting the bowl game didn't help. Time to move on and leave this mess.so was Alaimo informed that Card was promised to be our future starter? I highly doubt it.
or did he make his own decision?
Do I need to do more research 69?
yup. he had a chance to show he belonged. there had to be a reason Burton started that game and stayed in as long as he did. and we all saw why.when Allen came back that sealed it and not starting the bowl game didn't help. Time to move on and leave this mess.
Yeah, I agree. When Burton started the bowl game, it was a pretty clear signal that something wasn't clicking for Alaimo. He couldn't beat out Burton after 3 years...

Probably. I would have liked to have kept him in the fold though. New system, a lot of inexperience. More bodies would be nice.I would say that bodes well for the prospects of Allen. Probably knew he couldnt beat him out next year.
Why would we want him back?I hope pboiler keeps the same energy here as he did with Allen.
Sure. So you say! I had Grant committing before it was officially announced and I have zero inside sources!I'm not sure you have the capability of research. You just like to aimlessly spout off useless shit too much...
