I remember the crowd chanting “we want Bama” after OSU. Well we go their younger step brother and found out we didn’t really want that. There are very few teams that can challenge them.

As the old adage goes it's not who you play, it's when you play them. We caught OSU at the right time and an angry Auburn team at the wrong time and place.

If that was Saban's goal, he probably could have done it. But he's all about the W. With 8 min left in the first half, he took the air out of the ball. They burned clock for 7 min to get that FG. It was clear to Saban that he had enough of a lead and it would be impossible for OU to catch Bama if he just limited their chances.

This^. What a luxury to be able to knowingly run, take 7 min. off the clock and get additional points . . . As much as Saban is disliked, you have to respect the “machine” he has built!

As he has said in the past, “Alabama does not recruit; we select”! What a luxury!
