Just need to add Eastern and that would be a respectable class. Still could use a big bodied low post type power forward, but I don't really want to see Purdue reach when we can address it in 2018 class when a ton of minutes open up.

Not bragging, but I've been right all along about our recruiting, and I think we have little chance with Eastern. I see him going to MSU. I hope I'm wrong on this one.

Eastern may end up at MSU but I think there is a reason he hasn't pulled the trigger yet in spite of having the offer and having visited at the end of September.

I assume you mean Purdue (I meant his visit to MSU in my post but as I read it over I wasn't very clear about who I was talking about). And yes he did. If it were as cut and dry for MSU as many here seem to think I'd think he'd have committed by now. That's just me speculating though. I have no inside info.

It's like he's waiting to see if MSU is getting someone else at his position. No idea if that's the case though.

Eastern also visited Seton Hall on Oct 8. I think Eron Gordon is a freshman there this year.

Would be a good class for us for sure and fit out needs with a big 2018 on the horizon depending on who leaves next year between Haas, V. Edwards and Biggie.

Hope they all stay and make 2018 crazy awesome!....but I say Biggie goes no matter what.

If he wants to play point guard, maybe he's looking at Cassius Winston coming in this year and wondering if there is a path there to start anytime soon?

Right, after PJ/Mathias graduates then there would be a lot of potential with Carsen Edwards and Eastern in the back court. Eastern could also play point forward with Cline in the mix.
