A week ago from right now

I got over it sometime last Thursday evening.

Good for you. I'm sure Painter , Burke, Daniels and anyone else running things at Purdue did to.
After all, its standard operating procedure for Purdue to flop in the NCAA tournament isn't it?
Another post season, another choke- nothing to see here.

It stung for sure. We had a nice draw and with MSU going down it for even easier.
We simply didn't execute. It was a crushing blow for the players I am sure in the way they went down. But that's what happens in the tourney and we just happened to be in the wrong side of it this time.
Every team gets its heart broke in this tourney each year. 67 heartbreaks and one huge celebration. If it were easy, it wouldn't be nearly as satisfying to win.

Some folks on here seem to live and die by this team. I do as well but within perspective. Life has been fine this week and I am still enjoying watching the games.

esp. while watching nd - Wisky turning back B Ball for 60 years

Come on, Iowa State would have rolled us, especially after the two OTs vs. the Little Rocks. And forget about Purdue beating Virginia. Painter is simply not a NCAA tournament coach, especially without a point guard. Let's see what he can do next season with Carson.
