I am just flabbergasted. That's about all I can say. After getting probably the most embarrasing humiliating defeat in first round of NCAA with Hammons, Haas, and Swan (3 huge sized NBA players) against a team that shouldn't be a division 1 basketball team, here we go again. Purdue was beat by the equivalent of a community college team first round ousted last year. The fans are owed. The fans stuck by the team all year and they went out there and got waxed like Biffs car like a Back to the Future movie. Efforts waisted, time burned, end result ZERO wins. Not that zero wins even matters. Hell I'd rather Purdue get ousted round 1 if they aren't going to final four. At least the fans get to save some time.
This is the 2nd zero win tournament post season in a row. It is just unbelievable. Purdue was the 1 seed and choked hard today. What a disappointment. Why watch basketball? If Purdue couldn't win today with player of the year as a 1 seed in the mere first round of big ten against a team it recently played AND had a rest night last night why even play the rest of the season? Why show up at the NCAA? Can we forfeit and just be a high seed in the NIT? I'd rather have a chance to win the NIT than be some stupid first or second round elimination and a sweet 16 is nothing but a aint nobody gonna remember acccomplishment.
